Rodeo Uncorked! International Wine Competition
The Rodeo Uncorked! Wine Show begins with the International Wine Competition in November. This private judging event determines the wines featured at the Roundup and Best Bites Competition. Top winners are awarded with custom-made saddles, chaps and buckles and are auctioned at the Champion Wine Auction.
The 2009 competition boasted 1,761 wines from 583 wineries in Texas, across the United States and around the world. Sixteen countries participated in the competition and 1,250 medals were awarded by 15 panels of judges, consisting of local, national, and international wine experts
